Automatic fire sprinkler systems have a proven track record of providing the best protection against loss of people, property, and assets in the event of a fire. A Preaction fire sprinkler system is similar to a dry-pipe system, but air pressure may or may not be used. The main sprinkler system control valve is opened by an actuating device, which permits water to flow into the piping system and discharge from the activated sprinkler heads. This type of system is generally used in areas where system piping is subject to mechanical damage, as well as in areas where it is important to prevent accidental discharge of water.
The authority having jurisdiction (local Fire Marshal) may at some time request a copy of your fire sprinkler system inspection report(s). If you cannot find the inspection report that we sent upon completion of the inspection, please give us a call and we will send it to you.
